Peru, Secular State is a citizen initiative that promotes the importance of the principle of secularism and the promotion of secular culture for the guarantee and defense of the human rights of the people in Peru and for the promotion of spaces with democratic coexistence and where diversity is respected.
Since 2016, the citizen initiative has been joined by thousands of citizens who profess diverse convictions, spiritualties and beliefs, in pursuit of the effective separation of the Peruvian State and religious institutions.
